Grammar
~것 같다.
When you have a guess, assumption, speculation or something that you cannot be sure, you can use ~것 같다. Of course, it falls into 3 types: Past, Present, Future. Let me give some examples. I hope you will attentively check the conjugation before ~것.

<Past> ~(ㅆ)던 것 같다
e.g.)  
1. 그 노래 어디서 많이 들어봤(었)던 것 같다. = 그 노래 어디서 많이 들어본 것 같다.
2. 방금 누가 지나갔(었)던 것 같다. = 방금 누가 지나간 것 같다. 
3. 집에서 나올 때 문을 잘 닫았던 것 같다. = 집에서 나올 때 문을 잘 닫은 것 같다.

P.S) 들어봤(었)던 것 같다 can be 들어봤던 것 같다 in conversation.
But, I'd like to explain about (은) or (ㄴ) 것 같다 which can be a example of 들어본 것 같다.
I equated ~(ㅆ)던 것 같다 with (은) or (ㄴ) 것 같다 but here is a difference.
Concretely, ~(ㅆ)던 것 같다 is a guess from memory that something happened before but (은) or (ㄴ) 것 같다 is a simple guess about what it happened. Let me show you a illustration.

What apples sold out is the past but the guy thinking apples were sold out is now. In this moment, 사과가 다 팔렸던 것 같다 is not suitable because he is looking at the empty box, so it cannot be his memory.

Now, he is saying his guess from memory which already happened. Then, 사과는 다 팔렸던 것 같아 is suitable. Of course, in this moment, 사과는 다 팔린 것 같아 is also okay as long as it is a simple guess.

If possible, try to use (은) or (ㄴ) 것 같다 unless something that you want to say is a long time ago. On the other hand, if something happened a while ago and you need to recall, try to use (ㅆ)던 것 같다

Actually, you can use (ㅆ)던 것 같다 even though it is not from memory, like '방금 누가 지나갔(었)던 것 같다'. In that moment, (ㅆ)던 것 같다 implies a more uncertain meaning. In other words, it is so uncertain as it needs to recall.

<Present> ~는 것 같다. 
e.g.)
1. 누군가 여기 있는 것 같다.
2. 아빠는 자는 것 같다.
3. 지금 이쪽으로 오는 것 같다.

<Future> ~(ㄹ) 것 같다. 
e.g.) 
1. 그 두 사람 서로 좋아할 것 같다.
2. 내일 수업이 없을 것 같다.
3. 무슨 일이 벌어질 것 같다.

When you put a noun before ~(ㄴ) 것 같다, you can put it without ~(ㄴ) 것.

e.g.)
1. 그 친구가 싫어하는 과목은 수학인 것 같다. = 그 친구가 싫어하는 과목은 수학 같다.
2. 그 사람은 좋은 사람인 것 같다. = 그 사람은 좋은 사람 같다.
3. 이쪽길이 옳은 길인 것 같다. = 이쪽길이 옳은 길 같다.

It can also mean 'look like~'

e.g.)
1. 벌레 같다.
2. 사람 같다.
3. 여자 같다.

 새해 들어서 그런 고민은 했었던 것 같은데... 저는, 이제 지금 모습에서 멈춰있는 거 말고 이것저것 다른 시도를 하면서 계속 업그레이드[Upgrade] 되었으면 좋겠어요. 저도…, 근데 생각해 보면, 많은 나이는 아닌 것 같아요. 완벽하지 않은 게 오히려 저의 매력일 수도 있는 것 같아요. 많은 분들이 이제 채찍질도 해주시고, 당근도 주시고 하시는데 이것저것 매도 맞아보고, 칭찬도 들어보고 하면서 점점 좋은 모습 보여 드리는 게 올해도 또 그럴 수 있는, 좀 마음이 넓고 열려있는 그런 가수가 되고 싶어요.
